Designation : Trainee/Junior Business Analyst

Eligibility   : MBA - Finance

Job RequirementBusiness Analysis : 

• Understands the requirements clearly, and is able to map them into the available solutions to put forward the offering that would suit Customer needs.
• Analyzes marketplace , industry, company, technology trends, best practices, competition analysis. To be able to drive the product roadmap.Is able to conduct product demos and highlight the features and functionalities inline with the customer requirements
• Produces written specifications, e.g. Business Requirement Document,Business Test Cases, Business Proposal, Product Presentations with the capabilities on Services etc

 Testing

• Identification of impact areas, preparation of test scenarios and test packs
• Co-ordination with stakeholders for checking of results and outputs
• Managing issues and risks at testing stage
• Planning the testing activities end-to-end

Project Management

• Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure maximum participation
• Plan the sub-activities and co-ordinate for the planned activities
• Send regular status updates
• Ensuring timely completion of project activities
• Proactively escalating wherever necessary

Skill Set-Good understanding of accounting and finance concepts ( Investment Accounting, GAAP, SEC, SAB, asset depreciation, capital, revenue and recognition, understanding of financial statements, etc…)
-An Understanding of capital markets (Equity & Debt), Lending products (Retail/Corporate), liability products and Branch Banking process.
-An understanding of functioning of Mutual Funds/Portfolio Mgmt Companies/ Insurance Fund Management
- An understanding of Investment/Fund management related guidelines from IRDA & SEBI
- Excellent planning and organizational skills-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good analytical, logical and reasoning skills
- Knowledge of derivatives is a value add
- Power users of MS-Excel, Word and Powerpoint
